How to Open thumbnails in New window

Hi Guys Confused

A client visits my site and clicks on a product thumbnail; taking them to another area where the buy button is with all the information. Now, that client clicks again on the thumbnail or image to inlarge it; the image opens up in the same page removing my client from the buying process.

How can I have the thumbnails open in a new window when clicked?

I hope I gave a good explanation. If not check out my site and try click around– http://anygreatdeal.com

BTW I tried using the html  (target="new") on the link for the image, and that didn't work cause it enlarged the image so big that it no longer had the custom thumbnail image width.

To open in a new window, you might try using the (target="new") on the ("<a href=") link that wraps the image.

Did you do any customizing to the code of your site? By default, your images should normally popup larger in the same page. Either it got disabled, or you may have another one of your plugins interfering with it.

Well, I didn't do any customization. The image used to pop up in the same place without opening any windows, and without interfering.

This just started happening after I upgraded to mk4 4.2. I had the 4.1 version. I have been checking and checking, and I can't find any plugins that could be causing this interference. I can't use the (<"a href=") because the Main Product Image located in the Edit Posting section only accepts url.

Ok, so it still doesn't work when you disable all of your plugins?

(I thought that would've been it.)

If you would like, I can log into your install and check around to see if I can find something.

If so, just create a Wordpress user account for me (admin priviledges please) and send me a PM with login details.  Or, you can email it to :  support [at] markettheme.com

I wouldn't think there should be any issue with 4.21 regarding images, as that functionality wasn't one that was modified.
