Any news on digital download deliveries?

I came across your Market Theme today and I've very impressed with it. However, I reviewed the e-Junkie pricing structure and it seems cost prohibitive for my situation since I'd like to offer a lot of digital photos for immediate download and they will be cheaply priced.

Will you be working on a future release so that the e-Junkie integration won't be required?

You can use Market Theme without e-junkie, however your customer will only hit a single 'thank you' page for downloads.   It's without authorization security though, so you may have to periodically rename the download area folder or something to keep it from being shared over time.

Focusing more on affiliate type setups is one of the next phases of development after this upcoming Market Theme 4.0 release.

So, to answer your question…  Yes..  Future releases will be working toward non-e-junkie related integration. That's probably 6 months out or so.  (Hard to give a firm time quote though.)

Gorgar, I disagree with you in as far as e-junkie being cost prohibitive. I have an account there for my download products and at $27 a month for 120 listings, you just can't beat that anywhere else. I recently went down to $18 a month and 60 listings because I'm reducing the amount of downloads for sale. I did my homework and could not find a better deal anywhere else, plus you get digital security features not found in any of the other e-junkie competitors. You will have to pay much more for what e-junkie gives you.

I hope that the Market Theme gets better, not worse, with how it handles e-junkie account holders that have digital products for sale, or not. The integration of the e-junkie features makes the Market Theme a strong product (coupons, shipping options, etc…).

I just want to know if e-junkie now works with market theme?  I hope I can hear from your ideas.  Thanks in advance http://imagicon.info/cat/5-11/icon_biggrin.gif

It works with e-junkie, but it's still the problem of not being able to mix physical products with digital products.  When integrating e-junkie, all products would need to be digital.

We have a plan for bringing digital delievery abilities fully into Market theme, where e-junkie would not be necessary.

That feature is scheduled to be tackled this year, but I don't have a specific date to provide you right now.
