QuoteBefore i purchase this theme i need to know if handles setting up coupon codes for sales and such. This is a very important feature that a store needs but i can't find any documentation saying that this theme can handle that.

No, not currently however that's the next feature that's being worked on right now.
It should probably be available sometime in early to mid January.
The functionality has been fully tested. The only thing left to do, is to add to the language file. Expecting that to be done today, and the new version to be up in the download center tonight.

Hi Eli, just wanted to know how this is coming along. I'm waiting to update a few of my sites and would like to include the coupon code feature.

I too am interested in the coupon code feature. Looking forward to seeing that put into place. Right now I am setting up my website with the new theme. Very user friendly.
Ok, in the download center right now is version Market Theme 4.3.
This version incorporates discount coupon codes, so you are now free to offer discounts and limited time promotions.
I know this ability has been highly requested, and a long time coming — so I'm glad to be able to offer it.

Ok, we've figured out a better way of structuring the coupon code
function, so that it doesn't have problems like are described above.
In the download center right now, is version 4.31, which is a better approach code-wise than the one release a couple of days ago (ver 4.3)
If you're upgrading to get coupon code functionality, get this one instead.
As far as coupons only for certain categories — no, not for awhile.
As far as coupon code feature in the online demo — it's not there right now, but should be there by the end of the week. (We just need to reinstall and setup the demo with the latest version of Market Theme.)
