I want to be able to list products for sale, along with peoples own reviews underneath. And also when they add to basket the software offers other products that similar people have bought that maybe of interest?

There is a "related posts" plugin in the download center you can use for cross promotion.
As far as your amazon reviews, that's not built into Market. You'll have to find an Amazon reviews plugin to use with it, or edit the code yourself to include the data.

There are many available plugins to achieve Related Posts section, where you just need to install it, no coding required.
