Fractional units and partial shipments

Is it possible for someone to order fractional units, such as 1.25 of something?

Does it have a way to handle partial fulfillment, say they order 5 of something and 3 are shipped, showing they have a "balance" of 2 that we owe them?  And can they log in to see what has been shipped?

Thanks

No…  You'd be best off to reduce your quantities down to the smallest level, and then just have your customer purchase multiple quantites of that small unit.

For example, if a customer wanted 1.25 yards of fabric — rather than listing your fabric by the yard and trying to do a fraction, you would sell by the 1/4 yard — and then just have the customer order five of them.

No on the partial shipment thing too.  That would have to be handled by you.
