I'm buying a developers copy in December, but the one thing that's slowing me down is payment gateways. This is an amazing theme/plugin setup and it seems to be a very solid and clean solution, it looks and feels fantastic so far. I was wondering, do you plan on integrating PayPal websites payments pro? This would keep the user on the site, and send the credit information over through your site. Is there a "simple" hack that would accomplish this? I have a few sites where I'd like to use your software, but would need the abilty to take credit cards numbers on our sites, to send and have processed via PayPal. Again, great software!

Hi Carmelo,
Thanks for the question, that's a good one. Right now we don't have a module to integreate with "payments pro" -- just the standard Paypal integration.
It is a good idea though. The Market theme (like many things), is a work in progress and will continue to be updated with new features and functionality as time goes on. We'll definitely work on integrating that type of method within a future release of Market.

If this is a feature which you think may end up in a future release, I'm sold.

It's a good idea, but it's not one of our priorities right now -- so I can't say for certain. It sounds like a good addition to make, but I'm not really sure about all that's really involved with doing it through a Wordpress theme. If it turns out to be readily viable, we'll likely work toward it -- but if it ends up being tough to pack that into a theme format, we may not be able to do it.
I guess what I'm leading to, is to not make your purchase dependant on that feature happening.
Is that a fair response?

Perfectly fair, I think I'll try and incorporate something .. see if I can't make something happen. I'm a bit tied up at the moment, but I'll start work on it next week. I'll keep you posted on my progress.
