Please help! Can I alter the Ajax cart to use the itransact Gateway?

Hi, I have read all the posts regarding the PayPal and Google checkout and I love this software. However, I have a client who insists on using the itransact gateway (OsCommerce has a plugin for itransact) and this particular Gateway has a simple methood (HTML) that they say will work with any shopping cart.

My questions are two: 1. Can I alter the cart to accept the html of the gateway itransact and will it work OR can I alter the shopping cart to use the itranact plugin for os commerce?

2. itransact has extensive documentation for a Standard HTML Form Post Connection Method at http://www.itransact.com/suppo…..olkit.html

Simply add an HTML form to your site to begin accepting transactions immediately. This is the method used by most merchants since it can be done from any HTML web page. An HTML order for can be created in just a few minutes.

Can it really be so simple as adding this html code or am I missing something? Please help, I've been researching your forums and product for days and I need to make a decision soon. Thank You.

If you're knowledgeable about form posting code, and you can follow documentation for integrating, then you should be able to connect it to Market Theme.

Market has a file named "ajCart/cart.php" that you'll need to modify the posting URL on.

You'd need to change that to redirect from Paypal (or Google), to a newly created orderform page you create to capture customer name, mailing address, and card # information.  Then, you'd have that orderform page submit all of your form fields data to your itransact account.
