OK, this looks like what I'm looking for. It seems to be the only afforable solution to a nice WP cart without doing major code alterations. Good Job AJ!

Here are my questions, which I'm basing from your demo store:

1. Is there an easy way to change the project images, such as on the “store” page? For example, I would do 200×200pxl images, 3 products by say 50 on a page.

2. I love the whole concept, except for the ajax cart. Is there any other solutions to this? I guess I might have a different checkout process in mind.

3. Since I am selling t-shirts, I need a way to charge more for different styles/sizes…is this available?

4. With what I am trying to accomplish, I am more looking to have a blog on an ecommerce site…not a store within a blog…does that make sense? I'm more familiar with zencart, but WP pages seem easier to modify. I was just going to add a blog to zencart, but this looks like a great option instead. So, my goal would be to have the landing page (home page) be the store. Really only a couple of links…Shirts, Custom, Wholesale, About, Contact, Blog. I guess what I am getting at is how hard is it to “turn off” those sidebar widgits except for on the blog page?

Thanks for taking the time to build this forum…I'm excited to see what else is in store.

1) Yes, it would just require some changing of the css in the stylesheet and then 2 lines of code in the storefront template itself.

2) The reason I decided to go with an ajax cart for the add to cart option is because it is very annoying to have to open a paypal page everytime you add an item to the cart. But, in the next few days our new ajax cart (no longer going to be relying on e-junkie) will be finished and really provides a much cleaner and simplier looking cart. At the same time it should also allow paypal forms hacks to work, such as multiple pricing for the different options.

3) See above…

4) As for this, that's very easy. You simply create the store page using the required template and set the wordpress options panel in the dashboard to make that page the homepage.

Is there such a thing as dependent attributes for this theme? It is really hard to find a cart with this function.

For example: t-shirts, hoodies, and long sleeves come in different colors. There might not be a green hoodie, but there is a green t-shirt. Ladies sizes come in xs-2xl, mens sizes come in s-8xl.

Does that make sense?

As for the different colors issue, yes, you can add different colors and pictures of each product. Check out http://www.woodencotton.com in which I sell clothing as well :)

Yes, every item can have dependent attributes. As for dependent attributes which different prices for each, it's a work in progress.
