I was wondering if it was possible to add additional fields during the checkout process, where they have to put their name, a date of event, etc… for example to personalize the product they're purchasing, they'd of course need to send me the personalization info.

I tried playing around the with custom fields in the demo site but it was a bit confusing and didn't seem doable for the kind of online store I'd need.
