Hello,
1. After purchasing 'Market' theme, is it delivered as a .zip folder?
2. Can pages be set-up as simply 'galleries' – that is with images of products not for sale – in addition to a 'store' page?
3. Is this product a WordPress theme or something that works in conjunction with another WordPress theme?
Thanks very much,
Charles

Hi Charles,
1. They are in a zipped package, but it's actually located in our download center. After purchase, you're emailed information for gaining membership. The download center contains not only the latest release of the theme and product manager plugin, but also previous versions and other various helpful plugins.
2. Sure… If you don't enter a price, no "Add to Cart" button will show up. you can also remove the "View Cart" and other shopping "view "cart contents" links. There are support forum threads that explain this step by step.
3. This is a complete WordPress theme. All that's needed is an installation of WordPress, and a Paypal account to link it to. (or Google checkout if you prefer)

Thanks for clearing that up.
Another thing: after reviewing all of the sample sites developed using this theme, I noticed that only one (I think) had a color in the wrapper or content divs that was not white. This is more of a comment, rather than a question, but I found it curious. I think it was the 'gold-plating' site that used a very dark brown or black background for the content. I wonder why so many choose to stay with white?

Not sure, but it can be changed through the stylesheet.
My guess is that it's because of readability — Black text on white is one of the easiest to read.
I know a lot of people who have commented to me how they hate colored text on a dark background.
Personally, I think it depends on what the market or industry is. Certain markets can get away with it, and it's more appropriate.
For typical ecommerce, I recommend black on white.

Lastly,
Does this have to be downloaded to my computer or can another party do so and send it to me later?

After payment, you would get an email sent to you with an access code for creating an account on our website (registration).
After you create an account, you can get into the download center at any time, regardless of computer.
(Just don't release your user account into the internet world, or we'll have to freeze it.)
