What are the available variables to set up shipping.

I see per-product shipping- can I offer flat shipping cost based on order?  0-100 $10.00 or 12.00 depending on product and over 100 free shipping?

I cannot figure out how to do that with what I saw on the demo -

Out of the box, you can set a base rate of a product (the price for one), and then a "volume" discounted rate when multiples of that item are purchased.  (ie. $5.00 s/h for the first and $3.50 s/h for each additional item of that product)

There is also a modification in the support forums, on setting up a store base rate.  This way, you can simply charge a store rate for the first item, and then add on the cost of individual products.

(ie.  Set a base store rate, and then have individual product rates added onto that)

Also, if you wanted to edit a few lines of code — you could set things up to have a flat rate based on cost of order.

A few months down the road, we're looking at expanding the shipping methods as well.

Hello! Your product looks and sounds great and I am seriously considering purchasing it. I have a similar question: Is it possible to set up a flat store shipping rate? With the modification in the forum that you spoke of, would it work to set a base rate for the first item purchased and then set the additional item shipping values to zero, thus making for one shipping cost regardless of order size? Thanks very much for your time!

Yes, you would approach it in the same way, except you just wouldn't add on the item rate.  Rather than putting in

$Shipping = $Shipping + 12.50;

it would just be this instead

$Shipping = 12.50;

 (or whatever your flat rate is)
