I don't see any reason why not.
I doubt you'd use the grid-view store option (because that's meant to list many products), but you'd probably be well served with how the Market theme shows a product thumbnail on the home page.
I suppose, you'd just edit the product information each day to reflect the new title, description, and image.
Also, for what it's worth… The Market theme also has a "Buy Now" button option that bypasses the shopping cart system and takes the user directly to the Paypal payment processing page. Since you're not going to be offering multiple products, you don't really need the "add to cart" ability. Once a person wants to buy, a single button will take them to the payment part without delay.
