This is all a very new vocabulary to me – thanks in advance for most basic/detailed response! When I attempted to start loading my new Market Theme shopping cart – all of my exisiting wordpress (blog-style) website content was translated in to the plain format of the market theme. To Maintain my current site content and format – are pluggins a choice? My only choice?
And, am I understanding correctly that there is no way to 'start a second (sales) website' to link to from my original site (www.TheIndigoForest.com), because the MarketTheme needs the current wordpress active website to run?
Love how the markettheme looks and appears to be simple. Frustrated with my lack of skill to truly 'up load in 20 minutes'.
THANKS!
Beth
Actually, many of our members who have an existing site they to keep just install a new installation of Wordpress into a subfolder named "store" or something similar. On that new installation, they install the Market Theme and set the logo and colors to look like their main website.
Then, they simply create a new link on their main site that points to the subfolder where the Market Theme "store" resides.
This way, you can keep your existing site, and have a Market Theme online store.
I hope this helps.
