Is there an updated procedure on how to create your market theme into an affiliate store. 

I don't need the cart.  Buy Now should point to the affiliate link.

What is the easiest way to get this up and running without too much customization?

The newest version of Market (4.02), actually has it built-in. 

It should be available in the download center in just a few hours.
