How do I show the grid-view template on a page?

My store front page is showing error not found.

You create a Page, then in the create page entry form, you select the Page Template "grid view template". Then save.

Thank you so much for your reply.  I tried it and it now works.  I created a heading called gift ideas and then selected gridview template.

I don't understand how this works – We have created pages for each category, and given them grid-view template as the template for the page.  It is still unclear how to make the market theme use this template instead of a list view on these pages.

There are two different methods that you're actually combining.

 

What is done above, is creating new page templates, and then assigning each one a unique category.  That's what's done in this thread:

These new pages will show up in your navigation bar.

 

What you are attempting (shown by your page link) is using the built-in category navifation structure (using the "category.php" file)

 

A grid view can still be done using the category view, but it involves some different coding modifications.
