Currently, it's Paypal (the business account also accepts visa, mastercard, amex, discover) or Google checkout.
More gateways hopefully coming within a few months.
I use Blue Pay to accept credit cards. Is there any way to integrate with your cart? I've already purchased your product with the understanding that other payment gateways (not just PayPal and Google Checkout) were available.
It can be done, but you'll need to use the integration guide from Bluepay.com to find out the post variables it requires. Then, you'll modify the "ajCart/cart.php" file (and possibly "cart_top.php" or "cart_bottom.php") to prepare the values for the required variables.

Does Market Theme support Paypal Pro (gateway), or just the regular Paypal checkout?
It supports the regular Paypal checkout process only. (where customers are transferred to Paypal to complete the payment portion)

Would I need to purchase an SSL certificate, and does Market Theme support Autherize.net, Quantum Gateway or Element Payment Services?
You would not need to purchase an SSL certificate if you used Paypal or Google checkout.
Market does not currently support other payment gateways, however that is on our "to-do" list of feature improvements. It's a few months down the road however.
(by the way, future updates are always free to paid members)

Where are you at with authorize.net ? I bought without reading that you didn't have any direct CC gateways supported yet. It's kind of a mission critical item for me, I'll have to go another way with my site if I can't get that somehow..

We're still in development. In fact, I talked with our lead developer earlier today about it.
It's the next major feature project, but it's still in the early stages right now.
And before you ask when, let me say that I'm not sure when it might be available.
At least 4 months out.

You can also use Google checkout if you don't want to use Paypal.
Other payment gateways are coming soon, but are still about 3 weeks out. Those will include gateways like "authorize.net" and a method that lets you process orders offline manually.
We've setup the structure, so that additional payment gateway modules can be easily added in the future by simply adding a new folder/file module.
For starters, we're trying to get the initial platform out there that will offer Paypal, Google checkout, Authorize.net, and a manual offline method.
Once it's solid and the bugs are out, we'll add on more gateways such as:
2CO
moneybookers
firstdata
worldpay
and then others as time goes on.
These will be added to the download center as "add-on" modules, and included in any upcoming updates of Market that come along.

Is PayPal pro currently supported? I saw a request for that about a year ago, along with some gateways that are now in add-on modules.

No, currently it just supports Paypal website standard.
As far as Paypal pro being supported in the future — it's possible we might, however there are no plans at the moment.
We do currently offer Authorize.net gateway ability as well.
